Description
DAP – Diammonium Phosphate is one of the most widely used phosphorus fertilizers, containing high levels of Phosphorus (P) along with Nitrogen (N) to support early and vigorous plant growth. Phosphorus plays a crucial role in root development, energy transfer, and flowering, while Nitrogen enhances vegetative growth and overall plant vigor.
DAP is especially effective during the initial growth stages of crops, helping establish strong root systems and improving nutrient uptake. It is commonly applied as a basal fertilizer at the time of sowing or planting and is suitable for a wide range of crops including cereals, pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, fruits, and cash crops.
This fertilizer dissolves efficiently in soil, providing readily available nutrients to plants. Regular and balanced use of DAP helps improve crop quality, yield potential, and soil fertility when used as part of an integrated nutrient management program.
